Daniel Mihai is an associate lecturer and social worker specialized in child protection. He has gained professional experience in both the public and private sectors. He currently works at the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection.

He completed his studies at Babeș–Bolyai University and defended his PhD thesis on the risk factors associated with children being separated from their parents in 2025. His professional approach centers on building trusting relationships and respecting human dignity.
