Dr. Claire Hennessy has been working at LJMU since 2002, initially undertaking evaluative research looking at resettlement of homeless people on Merseyside. This research formed the basis for her PhD which she was awarded in 2007.
From then she has undertaken projects regarding gender and ageing and the educational achievement of ex hard drug users.
Dr. Susan Kay-Flowers is a programme leader at Liverpool John Moores University. Her research experience in the area of children and young people’s relationships builds on her earlier professional career in probation and the family courts.
