Counseling and assistance in social work (in Hungarian)

MA Studies
This master is an interdisciplinary, applied and professional/vocational program, accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists (COPSI) as a university master’s degree program in psychotherapy and couple and family counseling. The three directions of the master’s program are: theoretical, self-knowledge and development of one’s own skills, research. In addition to the mandatory courses, students are offered a package of optional courses from the scope of three educational modules: addiction and criminology, social gerontology and assisting parents and children in risk situations.
Objectives
Theoretical training aims to provide knowledge that can be applied in specific fields. Self-knowledge and skills development aim to model a complex approach to counseling and psychotherapy that supports the protection and maintenance of the mental health of the individual, family, group or community. Theoretical and practical training on research methodology is aimed to support the design, implementation and evaluation of projects in the field of counseling, with professional requirements and suitability to the specifics of the field of expertise.
