Social Work for mental health (in Hungarian)

Our master’s program aims to provide additional knowledge in the field of mental health to professionals in psychosocial fields (teachers, doctors, social workers, human resources staff, physiotherapists, pastors, managers, etc.). Our objective is to provide our students with an approach, knowledge, abilities, and competencies that will enable them to complete their work more efficiently and thoughtfully.

Objectives

Key terms of the training program:

knowledge in the field of social sciences and psychology;

treatment of special life situations (life crises, trauma, pain, etc.);

coaching and supervision;

applying a holistic approach to social services;
identifying mental health problems and promoting mental health;
mental health counseling;
applying crisis intervention,
social crisis management;
informing about the risks of substance and alcohol abuse;
assessing clients’ drug and alcohol addictions and counseling;

conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
