Zoltán Mihály completed his PhD at Babeș-Bolyai University in 2021 with a thesis on the globalization of the Romanian chemical industry. Previously, he earned a master's degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Central European University in Budapest (2016), with a study on industrial relations at a company located in Cluj. He has published in journals such as the *Review of International Political Economy* and the *European Journal of Industrial Relations*. His research interests include the socio-anthropology of work, regional political economy, and human resource management.
