Student study mobility

What do I need to know before applying for study mobility?

1. During your stay abroad you will receive a monthly scholarship that you can use to cover some of your daily expenses.
2. If you have already received a scholarship from our university, it will be added to your ERASMUS scholarship.
3. During the university cycle, the minimum study mobility period is 3 months.
4. The ERASMUS + study mobility is available for all three levels of study, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral.
5. Students are selected twice a year. Students leaving in the second semester (of the already started semester) are usually selected in October/November. Students leaving in the first semester of the next academic year will be selected in March. The selection process involves creating an application folder and participating in an interview. Before deciding what to choose you can learn more about the process from the notifications posted on this site.
6. The subjects you will take at the host university must be equivalent to the subjects in the study plan. Therefore, it is necessary to choose courses similar to those provided by your home university.
7. Most universities have student associations dedicated exclusively to those who choose an ERASMUS + mobility and who organize cultural, educational and leisure activities.

Student placement mobility

What do I need to know before applying for a Student placement mobility?

1. During your stay abroad you will receive a monthly scholarship that you can use to cover some of your daily expenses.
2. If you have already received a scholarship from our university, it will be added to your ERASMUS scholarship.
3. During the university cycle, the minimum specialized practical training mobility period is 2 months
4. The ERASMUS + specialized practical training mobility is available for all three levels of study, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral.
5. The selection of students for the specialized practical training is conducted together with the selection for study mobility. The selection process involves creating an application folder and participating in an interview. Before deciding what to choose you can learn more about the process from the notifications posted on this site.
6. During the academic year, there may also be selections organized directly by the Centre for International Cooperation (CIC) at Babes-Bolyai University. For this reason, it is recommended to regularly check the notifications posted on this web page and the CIC web page.
7. For the specialized practical training mobility you do not need to take equivalent courses at the host university. It is therefore recommended to choose a period when you are not taking courses at your home university (e.g. holidays).
8. There are partner universities that can provide mobility opportunities for specialized practical training at private organizations (NGOs, companies, etc.) with which we can sign ne agreements.
