Obiectivul general al disciplinei – Prezentarea tematicii si abordarilor teoretice si metodologice din campul antropologiei contemporane
Obiectivele specifice – Intelegerea transformarilor teoretice in cadrul antropologiei contemporane (din anii 1960 pana in prezent)
Abordarea etnografiei nu doar ca metoda dar si ca formula textuala cu diverse posibilitati narrative.
Reflectia asupra potentialului antropologiei de a interveni in cultura publica.
Dezvoltarea gandirii critice, abilitatilor analitice si comparative.
