Social Service Management Reșița

In contemporary society, social problems are multiplying exponentially, taking on new dimensions and forms of manifestation—a reality that warrants analysis, interpretation, and explanation, but, above all, practical action. Current demands within the educational, social, and economic spheres highlight an acute need for high-quality theoretical and empirical information to assist in the organization and management of social issues. In an increasingly dynamic labor market, skills and competencies in social diagnosis—along with the ability to devise viable solutions to social problems—are becoming ever more important. This interdisciplinary program is designed for graduates in social work, economics, sociology, law, political and administrative sciences, and communication studies, as well as for professionals already working within the social welfare system who, by the very nature of their work, are committed to ensuring quality in social services. The program aims to foster both general and specialized knowledge, the ability to evaluate outcomes throughout the social intervention process, and the specific cognitive skills required for effective management. Recognizing the importance of social investment, the program emphasizes the application of knowledge and values to practical work with groups, organizations, and communities—encompassing the entire analysis and evaluation process—through the innovative use of intervention strategies and research methods tailored to solving management-related challenges.
